Here are a few photos of our recent family vacation to Southern California and visiting Disneyland! We had a really nice time, the weather was great and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We spent 3 days at Disneyland and we also were able to attend a game at Angels Stadium. It was the first time the girls had ever been to a professional baseball game and it was fun and a good break from the hustle of Disneyland. (Don't tell Steph I said that, there is no other place than Disneyland for her) I have also posted a picture of Keatyn's baptism! She was baptised July 5, 2008 and she had a lot of family and friends there to support her and wish her well. Keatyn is really growing up quickly, she will be in 3rd grade this year.

St. George Tournament

Our life for the last month has been "Softball"! It seems like we have done nothing other than follow the girls all over the state as they play HS softball. We had a fun time in St. George as the girls played in a tournament there. We were able to spend the weekend and then on Sunday had a great opportunity as Cody and Courtney blessed their beautiful little baby Brinklee. That was a great occasion and we are really proud of Cody for the beautiful blessing he gave and the great parents they both are, we are so happy for them.

For Easter we decided to take a change from the traditional dusty, cold and windy west desert four wheeler ride and went south to Mesquite to find the sun! We spend the weekend with family and Steph and the girls had a great time at the pool laying around in the sun. Keatyn participated in the easter egg hunt on Saturday along with her cousins and even though they didn't get many eggs they had a great time.

Over the weekend our fears of Maklee turning 16 and driving were eased a little bit as all the kids drove go carts at the race track and Maklee was definatelly our "poodler" and found herself driving in the back of the pack being extra careful not to make any mistakes. It was a lot of fun to spend time together and just relax and not worry about things, we need to do that more often.

We just wanted to give a brief update on the girls playoff came between Delta & Hurricane on friday at Hurricane. Well, our girls played really hard and really put their heart into it, but Hurricane is really big, tough and seem to be very well coached. Even though the girls got beat and are now eliminated from the state tournament they kept a very positive attitude and look forward softball and what next year will bring. Delta had a great support group at the game, as always there were a lot of parents and family members that travel across the state to support the team.

What a crazy and hectic week it's been for our family. As you may know Steph's dad and our Grandpa Ted passed away last week, leaving a huge hole in our hearts. Ted has left behind a big legacy and even bigger posterity, for those that know the Gordons. The last week has been a very emotional and wonderful experience for the entire family, we are so grateful for the love and support of everyone during this time we couldn't have made it with out each of you.
